Go Green! June 11-15
Help Museum Center do our part to stay green by learning what being “green” means! We will look at the science behind being green, and what Museum Center does to help the environment. Learn about theCincinnati History Museum’s victory garden, the certified monarch butterfly weigh station in the Museum of Natural History & Science’sgarden and the benefits of having a vegetable garden.

Myths and Legends: June 18-22
Did Atlantis really exist? Who was King Arthur? The world is full of interesting and exciting myths and legends. Join us for the week to explore what exactly is fact or fiction.

Artist in Residence: June 25-29
From painting to ballet and everything in between this camp will explore everything art. Campers will get to create, design, and experience both new and old art techniques.

Harry Potter I: July 9-13
Tired of being a muggle? Join Cincinnati Museum Center’s Harry Potter Camp I to find out what school is like in the wizarding world!

Get ready for your second term at Hogwarts! Study up on muggles, herbology, divination, astronomy, and even more in this action packed camp. Note: This camp is open to all. You DO NOT have to participate in week one to partake in this camp.

Super Scientists! July 23-27
Calling all science sleuths to explore the exciting world of science! In this STEM based camp we will be examining energy, constructing simple machines, and exploring the worlds of chemistry and physics.

For the past several years, we have participated in the Spiritual Adoption program offered through the Diocesan ProLife office. The idea is to pray for the parents and baby who might be in danger of being aborted. You might have seen the posters depicting the development of a baby in the womb in the elementary cafeteria. At the Junior High, Mrs. Pieper has her classes participate in homeroom and in Religion class. As a culminating event, the Jr. High is holding a “Baby Shower.” for the benefit of the Rose Garden Mission and their clients on Friday May 11. Special treats provided at lunch. All unwrapped baby items can be brought to Mrs. Pieper’s room or to the office at the elementary any time before (or even after) the date. Mrs. Pieper will drop them off at the mission in late May.

Thank you for supporting the magazine sale. Please send in any new orders with your child by Wednesday, May 9.

About a week ago, Sr. Mary Denise, SND called me to ask our school to support the Sisters of Notre Dame’s annual 4th of July picnic and festival. (I could not help but to remember being in elementary school and being asked to sell raffle tickets by my teachers, many of whom were Sisters of Notre Dame). As a school, we are offering an incentive for each student to participate: On Wednesday, May 16, every student who brings in at least $1.00 for a raffle ticket will be allowed to be out of uniform (jeans or shorts and a t-shirt) that day. Someone will fill in the raffle tickets and will return the stubs to the students within the week. Thank you for supporting the Sisters who do so much to support Holy Trinity.

We are blessed that we have volunteers, Miss Enzweiler and Mrs. Lauer, running our libraries, and as we come upon the end of the year, they need time to make order in the libraries. Therefore, all books need to be returned to the Junior High Library by Friday, May 11. All books need to be returned to the Elementary Library by Wednesday, May 16. The last day for checkout at the elementary will be Wednesday, May 9. On Thursday, May 17, there will be a (surplus) book sale

Our final Buckhead night is May 9th. The flyer must be presented to your server. You only need one flyer per table even if there are multiple checks. If you go for lunch and again for dinner, you will need 2 flyers.

Tell all your friends, neighbors, relatives and your co-workers. The more people we can get to go to Buckhead Mountain Grill for lunch or dinner the more money our school can earn. Carry out counts also, just remember the flyer.

Also, don’t forget to order your gift cards for Buckhead from the SCRIP program.

This has been a great way for us to earn some money, thanks for all your support. Let this last on of the year be our biggest!
